Under the AFP it says Special Che,istry and next to that is says 4.2 with a small 2above that(squared) then it reads 0.0-10 ng/dL. What does this mean?

AFP is alfa feto protein. It is a test that can be abnormal in patients who may have liver cancer. In patients with cancer the test can be especially high - greater than 300 for example. Yours is rock normal.
AFP can also be modestly abnormal in patients with cirrhosis who do not have liver cancer.
I always order an ultrasound to image the liver when the AFP is abnormal.
